These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) set out the basis on which you may access and use the Sooqna website and services (together, the “Platform”) and purchase products through it as a customer.
By accessing, browsing or using the Platform, or by placing an Order, you agree to be bound by:

these Terms;

our Shipping & Returns Policy; and
-
our Privacy Policy,
each as updated from time to time (together, the “Agreement”).
If you do not agree to the Agreement, you must not use the Platform.
1. who we are
1.1 Platform operator. The Platform is operated by Sooqna LLC, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates (“sooqna”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

2. definitions
For the purpose of this Policy:
-
“we”, “us”, “our” or “Sooqna” means the sooqna entity identified in the Terms & Conditions.

“Customer”, “you” or “your” means any individual using the Platform as a buyer and/or placing an Order.
-
“Brand Partner” means any professional brand or retailer whose products are offered for sale via the Platform.
-
“Order” means a purchase order placed by a Customer through the Platform.
-
“Products” means furniture, lighting, textiles and other homeware items offered on the Platform.
-
“Business Day” means a day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in the United Arab Emirates.
3. scope and our role
3.1 Curated marketplace for buyers. sooqna is a curated homeware marketplace that enables you, as a Customer, to browse and purchase Products that we select from Brand Partners and other curated sources.
3.2 Who is the seller? Depending on the Product:

some Products are sold directly by Sooqna;
-
some Products are sold by Brand Partners, in which case Sooqna facilitates the transaction and coordinates logistics and customer service as an intermediary.
In all cases, your contractual counterparties for the purchase of Products are as indicated on the Product page and/or in your Order confirmation.
3.3 Logistics and returns coordinated by Sooqna. Regardless of who the underlying seller is, Sooqna coordinates delivery, assembly (where applicable) and returns in accordance with the Shipping & Returns Policy. You are not expected to manage logistics directly with Brand Partners.
3.4 No design or professional advisory service. Any styling advice, curation, recommendations or content on the Platform (including via any AI chat assistant) is provided for general information and inspiration only and does not constitute professional architectural, engineering or construction advice. You remain responsible for ensuring the suitability of the Products for your space and intended use.
4. eligibility and account registration
4.1 Minimum age and capacity. To place Orders via the Platform, you must:
-
be at least 18 years old; and
-
have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts.
4.2 Account creation. You may need to create an account to use certain features (for example, saving favourites or tracking Orders). You must ensure that all information you provide is accurate, complete and kept up to date.
4.3 Account security. You are responsible for:
-
maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials; and
-
all activity that occurs under your account.
If you suspect any unauthorised use, you must notify us promptly at support@sooqna.com.
5. product information and availability
5.1 Curation and descriptions. We strive to ensure that Product descriptions, dimensions, photos and other details are accurate and reflective of the Product’s design and condition. However:
-
colours and finishes may vary slightly due to lighting, photography and display settings; and
-
minor variations in materials or finishes may occur, especially for natural or handcrafted items.
5.2 Condition. For any Products described as "minor wear", "ex-display" or similar, the Product page will indicate the relevant condition, including any notable wear, defects or repairs, to the extent known to us. Such Products are sold “as described”, subject to your rights in case misdescription as set out in the Shipping & Returns Policy.
5.3 Availability. Because of sooqna’s curated multi-brand model, you can purchase Products from multiple Brand Partners through a single Platform, but final availability depends on those partners keeping their stock levels up to date. All Products are therefore subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee that a Product is available until we have accepted your Order (see Section 7 below). You will not be charged until availability is confirmed and, if in rare cases payment is processed and a Product is later found to be unavailable, that part of your Order will be cancelled and you will be automatically refunded.
5.4 Corrections. We may correct errors or update information (including pricing and availability) on the Platform at any time. If an error affects an Order you have placed, we will inform you and offer either to reconfirm your Order at the correct details or to cancel and refund any amount already paid.
6. prices and payment
6.1 Prices. Unless otherwise stated, prices:
-
are displayed in AED; and
-
include or exclude VAT as indicated at checkout.
- If paid in a foreign currency, the exchange rate of your card issuer applies.
Any customs duties or import taxes for deliveries outside the UAE (where arranged) are your responsibility, as explained at the time of quoting such deliveries.
6.2 Payment processing. Payments are processed by third-party providers (currently Stripe). By submitting payment details, you:
-
authorise us and our payment provider to charge your chosen payment method for the full Order amount (including any applicable charges shown at checkout); and
-
confirm that you are authorised to use that payment method.
6.3 Security checks. We may perform fraud and security checks and may decline, cancel or delay Orders where issues are flagged.
7. orders and contract formation
7.1 Placing an Order. By placing an Order on the Platform, you make an offer to purchase the selected Product(s) under the Agreement.
7.2 Order acknowledgement. After placing an Order, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt. This does not constitute acceptance of your Order.
7.3 Order acceptance. A binding contract for the purchase of a Product is formed when we send you an Order confirmation email specifying that your Order (or a part of it) has been accepted.
7.4 Refusal or cancellation by us. We may refuse or cancel an Order (in whole or in part) at any time before delivery if, for example:
-
the Product is unavailable;
-
we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity;
-
there is a material error in the Product listing; or
-
you have not complied with the Agreement.
If we cancel an Order in these circumstances, we will refund any amounts paid for the affected Products.
8. shipping, delivery, assembly and returns
8.1 Policy incorporated. The terms governing shipping, delivery, assembly, returns and refunds are set out in our separate Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8.2 Key points (summary only). Without limiting the Policy, key points include:
-
Sooqna currently arranges delivery within the United Arab Emirates, primarily in Dubai and Abu Dhabi;
-
delivery within the UAE is free of charge, unless we clearly state otherwise for a specific Product or service;
-
basic assembly for certain Products is provided free of charge at the time of delivery within the UAE, subject to access and supervision as set out in the Policy;
-
you are responsible for ensuring safe access, measuring doorways/lifts and complying with building rules;
-
you must notify us within 48 hours from delivery of any damage, fault or misdescription, or to request a return for eligible Products; and
-
we do not accept returns based purely on a change of mind, except on an exceptional, discretionary basis as described in Section 10 of the Shipping & Returns Policy.
8.3 Inconsistencies. In case of any inconsistency between this Section 8 and the Shipping & Returns Policy, the Shipping & Returns Policy prevails for matters specifically relating to shipping, delivery, assembly, returns and refunds.
9. use of the platform
9.1 Permitted use. You may use the Platform only for:
-
browsing and purchasing Products for legal use; and
-
interacting with our content and tools (including any AI assistant) in a lawful and reasonable manner.
9.2 Prohibited use. You agree not to:
-
use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purpose;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or related systems;
-
interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform (including by introducing malware or harmful code);
-
use automated means to access the Platform or extract data without our prior written consent; or
-
misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or falsely imply any endorsement by Sooqna.
9.3 Suspension or termination. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform, or any part of it, if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or that your use presents a security, legal or reputational risk.
10. reviews, comments and other user content
10.1 User Content. The Platform allows you to submit reviews, ratings, comments, photos, videos or other content (“User Content”) in relation to Products or your experience.
10.2 Your responsibility.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You must ensure that it:
-
is accurate and not misleading;
-
does not infringe any third-party rights (including intellectual property, privacy or personality rights);
-
is not defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, obscene, harassing or otherwise unlawful; and
-
complies with these Terms and applicable law.
10.3 Licence to us. By submitting User Content, you grant Sooqna a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, display and create derivative works from such User Content, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to the Platform, social media channels, marketing emails, printed materials, press materials and editorial content, for the purposes of operating, improving and promoting Sooqna and its Products.
10.4 Moderation. We reserve the right (but are not obliged) to review, edit, remove or refuse to display any User Content at our sole discretion.
11. intellectual property
11.1 Ownership. All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform (including text, design, layout, graphics, logos, photographs and software), other than User Content and third-party content, are owned by or licensed to Sooqna.
11.2 Limited licence. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
11.3 Restrictions. You must not, without our prior written consent:
-
copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display or create derivative works from any part of the Platform other than for your own personal, non-commercial use;
-
use any Sooqna trademark, logo or branding in a way that may cause confusion; or
-
reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the source code of any software used on the Platform, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
12. privacy and data protection
12.1 Privacy Policy. Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that we may process your personal data in accordance with that policy.
12.2 Third-party providers. Third-party service providers (including payment processors and logistics partners) will process data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices, but we choose such providers with care.
13. disclaimers
13.1 Platform “as is”. The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that:
-
the Platform will be free from errors or interruptions;
-
defects will be corrected; or
-
the Platform or its servers will be free from viruses or other harmful components.
13.2 Product warranties. Except as expressly stated in the Agreement or required by law:
-
we do not give additional warranties regarding the Products, including any implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose; and
-
any manufacturer warranties that may exist remain with the original manufacturer or Brand Partner (where applicable).
13.3 No professional advice. Information, recommendations and content (including via the AI chat assistant) are provided for general information only and do not constitute professional advice. You should consult appropriate professionals where needed.
14. limitation of liability
14.1 Consumer rights preserved. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited by contract.
14.2 Exclusions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sooqna, its directors, employees, agents and affiliates shall not be liable for:
-
any indirect, consequential, incidental, punitive or special loss or damage;
-
any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or data; or
-
any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with these Terms, the Shipping & Returns Policy, building rules, or reasonable instructions given by our delivery or assembly teams.
14.3 Assembly and supervision. As set out in the Shipping & Returns Policy:
-
assembly can only be performed if our delivery/assembly team is given safe and timely access to your premises;
-
you are responsible for ensuring that a responsible adult is present to receive and supervise the team while they are on your premises; and
-
to the maximum extent permitted by law, neither Sooqna nor any Brand Partner will be liable for any loss, damage or issue arising from (i) your failure to provide proper access, or (ii) any problem that could reasonably have been avoided or mitigated through appropriate supervision of the assembly team.
14.4 Overall cap. Subject to Sections 14.1–14.3, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or in connection with the Agreement shall not exceed the greater of the total amount you paid for the Product(s) giving rise to the claim.
15. changes to the platform and these terms
15.1 Platform changes. We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Platform (including any Products or features) at any time.
15.2 Updates to Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do so, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to inform you (for example, via email or a notice on the Platform).
15.3 Continued use. Your continued use of the Platform after updated Terms take effect will constitute your acceptance of them.
16. governing law and jurisdiction
16.1 Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them (including any non-contractual obligations) are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections under the law of your place of residence (where applicable).
16.2 Jurisdiction. Subject to any mandatory dispute resolution provisions under applicable law, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Agreement.
17. miscellaneous
17.1 Entire agreement. The Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Sooqna in relation to your use of the Platform as a buyer and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements on that subject.
17.2 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
17.3 No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
17.4 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under the Agreement without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under the Agreement to any affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
